Asus Transformer Infinity TF700T or Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1

It would be the infinity for me. Just soo versatile and the screen will be lovely. Looks better too, would have to be in champagne too.

Neither.

Tegra 3 isn't suitable for 1920*1200, you'll get poor performance and terrible battery life. (Neither is the base S4 but that won't get released anyway :p)

Samsung keep changing the Note 10.1, who knows what it'll end up with but the Exynos 4412 is the most suitable to drive 1080p ...but the current one only 1280 x 800?

I would say they iPad 3 but that's gimped with a 45nm SoC.

Alright, what about if you were going for an Android one? :p

That super epic next gen Samsung tablet can't be far off now! :D September/October maybe?

Otherwise get a cheap TF300 or tab 7.7 if your desperate, isn't the $199 Nexus tablet being announced in two weeks?

iPad for me, sadly. Android phone every day of the week, as I enjoy the OS far more, but at the moment the iPad's app support for tablets is infinitely better.

This is the main reason I went from looking at an Android tablet to an iPad, until I realised that developers just use it as an oppotunity to charge a lot more for iPad apps compared to iPhone apps. After comparing the apps, I've come back to Android because the tablet app situation is really not that bad, and I'm sure that tablet apps will get more support from Google and the developers in the future (hopefully).

Anyway, it's between the TF300 and the TF700 - a cheap tablet that will be perfect for my use, or a top spec tablet that perhaps I don't need.

Neither for me. With the advent of Windows 8 there will be better tablets then those turning up by the end of the year.

This.

Sadly it seems like android tablets at the moment will always be 'almost'. I hope things change and they really put there all into it (whether Google can push this with a Nexus tablet we'll see)

The conceopt of the transformer is excellent as is the design - I really love it in that champagne gold.

But with an old power hungry Tegra 3 SoC is not worth the asking price which is $650 with the dock.

Future Transformers will tempt me much more - I really have no need for such a device, but it just looks soo cool.

Still waiting for date Infinity will be released right?

Would find a tablet very useful at the moment, was trying to figure out the options of what i could buy asap.
