chloe smith on newsnight last night

I was referring to the fact that delaying an inevitable increase in cost of fuel, using money that we could instead use to pay a chunk of what we've borrowed off will surely make us worse off in the long run.
I completely agree. But she isn't an idiot. She knows what she's saying, what she's covering up and why.

Funny to watc but a complete waste of time to listen to these politicians.

I bet they can't even tell you the answer of 1 +1.

In the UK, has there ever been a female politician who isn't a complete joke? I know on the whole politicians are jokes, but it seems every female one is actually bat**** insane.

You're asking a dominantly Tory forum if there's ever been a female politician that isn't a complete joke? :p

Some Tory MPs were said to be furious that they had been told to defend the government's decision not to delay the fuel rise until a few hours before it was reversed.

One told the BBC: "It was absolutely bloody stupid, treating us like idiots."

It's incredibly apparent from the footage that Ms Smith is one of those who were treated 'like an idiot'.

Currently I have been rather partial to Sarah Teather on her appearances on Question Time, ignoring her tuition fee hypocrisy.

"now Mr lin... im sure what you really meant to ask me is now 1 and 1 can move forward in this untoward economic climate... we believe that both 1 and indeed any other 1 can................ waffle waffle waffle............"

:D

No denying maggie got the job done (in line with her agenda, anyway) but she was still totally insane.

or close the tax loopholes for millionaires?

increase in fuel duty hits the poor the most as they are the most likely to be in fuel poverty. the people at the bottom dont have any money.

if it gets any worse it will just be slave labour as you get charged a fortune to get to work then earn your salary that will only just put a roof over your head and feed & heat you. people shouldnt be working full time just to live

taking money off the poor wont help anyone it will just breed resentment and to be honest a lot of people are close to breaking point as it is. we are edging closer towards greece every day

 There's been dozens of polls over the years and they've all skewed heavily to the right. Everyone knows this is a right-leaning forum.

i think George Hincapie was being sarcastic. its obvious this is a right wing (leaning towards fascist at times) forum.

search for 'crazy lefty' or 'stupid liberal' and you might get billions of results.
