The first underwater (163ft down) photograph was taken in 1893, still nearly thirty years before "electronics".

This is nearly 300 feet down, not 163 and even that relatively shallow one used "battery powered arc lights" and 30 minute exposures.

The second colour photo used pounds of magnesium and was only around 10-15 feet deep, which was triggered by a battery.

So no, they didn't take deep underwater photos like those shown above without the use of electronics.

So take your :rolleyes: and shove 'em.

Pretty crazy how it stops electronic devices.... would love more info about that!

The info is probably that it doesn't stop electronic devices and it is in fact made up. There is nothing on the Ocean X website about it stopping electronic devices. Just that they found something and they are not sure what it is.
