The DOW2 pack, I already have the original.
anyone know if it gives me a giftable copy if I buy the 3 pack?

Not sure if they still do this, but I thought you forfeited gift copies if you already own it and the game's on sale as well as part of a package (I might be wrong though).

Can you even buy the 4-Pack if you already own the game? Worth a shot if you can I guess.

nono Im wanting to buy the pack thats

DoW2 <<---- Already have
retribution
Chaos rising

Was just wondering if I can give my mate the spare copy of the original.
I'm paying for it so I'd be expecting to be able to use it or give it to someone else.

GameStop has Mass Effect for £2.49.

According to the e-mail I got from them they should also have Mass Effect 2 for the same price - but I can seem to find it.

I see both on the US site for $4.99, but I can't see either on the UK site. Can anyone see a UK copy for this price, or is it purchase-via-proxy time?

:edit:

Scratch that, I've found it. ME1 for £2.49 right enough, but ME2 is £14.99 and ME2 CE is £7.49.

Oh I see sorry, its been a long day. Edit: Oh hold on, its on the list. Assuming they mean Complete rather than Gold then yes: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=4502-TPJL-2656

Users who own "Dawn of War II"and then go on to purchase "Dawn of War II Gold Edition" will receive an extra copy of "Dawn of War II"

That is of course assuming it isn't a typo, as there is no "Gold" version of DOWII on Steam, at least not named that way. Either way you may be in luck! :)

DoW-Platinum Edition at £2.49 from steam, is this a good way to get an introduction to the series? or should DoW2 be the starting point?

DoW and DoW II are quite different. I guess it depends on your preferred type of game but personally I preferred DoW which was much more RTS where as DoW II has RPG elements that make it more of a tactical RPG/RTS hybrid.

Either way DoW Platinum would be a great and cheap way to get yourself started in the series, they are huge amounts of fun and lots of hours of gameplay for the money.

What on Earth is with the sheer amount of DLC for Retribution? I noticed there are "Race packs" -- are those to unlock race campaigns or purely for multiplayer? Shocking amount of stuff listed there, tbh.
