EDIT: going to get a new case instead of using the old one, http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-037-ZA Like the zalman, comes with plenty of fans ready to go and a temp display/fan controller is pretty nice.

Did consider a better mobo but tbh that has usb 3, does the job and by the time this gets an upgrade in the future it'll probably need a new mobo and processor as it won't be for a while now. Picking that up today i think!

I would personally leave Windows 7 if you already have a copy. I tried my old copy on my new machine and it worked!

Ignore this if you do not have a spare copy of Windows 7 :P

Also, with regards to the RAM, the motherboard won't support 1600MHz so be sure to run it at lower speed (1333MHz) and don't let it default to 1600MHz.

I'll go for the seagate then, oh didn't realise is it maybe go for this better mobo that was recommended in my last thread. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-202-MS
