I was afraid this was going to happen. :(

Mine has exactly the same issue everyone's been going on about,Clicking/tapping pump noise.

If i turn the system on its side the noise goes away.

Apparently Corsair are happy to replace them, but people have been recieving replacement ones that are the same or are either worse.

Should i return it and ask for my money back?
Such as shame because the temps are fab.

Corsair say they have found the problem a tolerance issue in the ceramic bearing around the pump shaft and we've immediately tightened the screening process for these components. They will have units for RMA soon.

Get your money back mate, same thing happened to me about 3 weeks ago. Got a phanteks solution now. Performs great. Never again will i touch hydro from corsair.

IF Big if this is true and when they are on the market for 3 months of more with no RMAs they might be worth considering again.
IMHO

And I'm not one of you guys that had problems with them. :D

Ive put in a RMA from the company i bought it from and asked for a refund,Not a replacement.

Might just put on the Prolimatech Megahalems Rev.c cooler i got left over from my 1156 build in a Push/Pull config,Should be fine for my 3570K?

LOL. If Megahalems isn't up to the task you have some serious problems... or doing some serious OCing.

On the Corsair forum it says they could have them friday so units made with a product code after that might be safe. Still have to wait and see if it does sort out the noisey pumps. My first one had this problem and I returned it to the shop I got it from. The replacement is the same but both were very quiet with the diode fix. I will still returning the second for replacement or refund.

so Corsair has them Friday, but when will dealers have them?

And will it really solve the problem? Only time will tell. Face it, Corsair is getting desperate. They've kept selling faulty product to keep cash flow, but it has to be hurting sales.

hmm this explains why I got my Corsair H100 off the for sales forums for like 50 quid lol
was not aware of such major noise issues, will hope corsair replace them with fixed ones although I dont have the reciept hopefully via serial number I hope ?!

Either way perhaps better to get a proper solid fan cooler like silver arrow....

HighlandeR, Does your H100 have pump noise?

never even switched it on tbh

Brought it from MM about 6 months ago, but was gonna use it on a new up to date build which never happen.

Corsair seem to be saying its only effected a small amount of people ?

Guess Ill have to try it out somehow

Thanks for the reply.

Of course that's what Corsair would say.. and it's probably true. In truth only a small amount of people even buy CLC.... and even less only Corsair CLC. ;) I'm sure it not a very high percentage, but more than I would chance.

Is the OCUK h2flo Extreme prone to these problems as I believe they are manufactured pretty much the same?

How long after you installed did you get the dreaded pump noise?

If your one of the lucky ones yours might be quiet, in which case performance is great. If noisy, id dump it on corsair and get a refund and go for that silver arrow or any other top end air. I went for phanteks, my pump was just to noisy.

From what i know, both the ocuk liquid coolers and corsair are both made asestek, i may be incorrect in which case disregard this, but i read its hit and miss with noise from corsair units, however i havent read any problems with noise from OCuk units.
