Hi Any chance you are getting anymore of the older style 680 waterblocks in again or are they discontinued ?

As I don't like the new blocks at all.:o

Its just that if you can get them I will sell my two EVGA 580s and get those blocks for my new build to fit on some (may be after 3 of them) EVGA 670 FTW cards..but if I you can't get them I'll stick with my 580's and the EK blocks I have ...:)

P.S any chance of you also getting the EVGA 670 FTW cards in ?

Many Thanks

You'd have to create another thread in CS afaik rather than get a move.

What about one of the aquacomputer blocks? Not plexi but still a really nice bit of kit.

Agree the AQ block looks great but I want to be able to see the liquid and am looking for a certain look. (See below)

I think the watercool heatkiller (black) + backplate is the best looking 680 block.

Plexi sucks anyway.

*braces*

Agree Watercool Looks nice ..not nicest..;)

This is the look I'm aiming for..

Ahhh I see, I take it you have the same/similar case with the rotated motherboard tray? In that case plexi is a must :)

The only other plexi blocks I've seen are Danger Den blocks, but IMO they are rancid.

Might be an idea to see if you pick up some used plexi blocks? tbh the frosted blocks don't look that bad with fluid in them.

Understatement :D

The new EK blocks have a few problems one they only have 1/4 BSP holes on one side limiting your choices the covers have not been cut to the shape of the block..this may be to create a certain style but it is for another reason and thats simply to create it cheaper much less machine work....bad move EK...now the little silver logo I like that !:D

The holes...EK ship a bridge connector with every block to rotate the holes by 90 degrees, EK need to make this allot clearer to consumers as the majority are under the impression they are stuck with underside ports :)

The blocks are still shaped to the card from what I understand, its just the plexi/acetal on top that's a square cut. As I said, they don't look that bad with fluid in them :)

Sorry yeah I know about the inc angled fittings but that looks like a pice of bubble wrap over ...and couldn't they cut the perspex to size??:(

Its due to EK's 'Circle Square' design, flat edged 'square' blocks with circles on top.

In all honesty EK should probably have done a little more market research before scrapping the old design in favour of CSQ.

Did you post this in the Customer Service section?

If so what was the reply? As I'm looking at buying 2x Gigabyte GTX 670 Windforce 3X and would need 2x GTX 680 waterblocks but I do not like the new design at all.
