Ok, so here is the deal - In preparation for GW2 and PS2, I want to upgrade my PC a bit.

At the moment I am rolling with;

i5 - 2320 @ 3GHZ
8GB Ram
GeForce 550ti
(I think) 500W PSU

So, I want to mostly upgrade the GFX which might result in me needing to upgrade my PSU. I was looking at the 560Ti which I hear very good things about, is there any reason I should'nt look at this card?

My budget is going to be roughly £200, maybe a bit more if I have to upgrade PSU or if you guys blow my mind with another GFX card recommendation.

Keep in mind, my PC at the moment is only used for D3, Binding of Isaac, Minecraft and Tribes. Most graphic intensive games I buy for my PS3, so mostly some PC FPS's and MMO's.

Thanks guys!

What make and model is your PSU? As above the 7850 is the best card for the money in that price bracket and it's crying out to be overclocked (which is safe and very easy).

You're in luck, it would appear that PSU comes with a single 6pin PCIE power connector...Just the number of power connectors the 7850 needs ;)

Luck of the irish then eh?

This is going to sound like a noobish question, but is that located on the back of the PSU? Or a cable off the PSU?

Ah, sweet :) Thanks man! So I would be alright to go straight ahead and slot the 7850 straight in then?

The hardest part now will be getting these stupid cable ties off, ugh!

I would, 500w should be enough, I'd guess the total power consumption with a 7850 would be ~400w. Should be a nice upgrade from a 550Ti :)
