How much do you spend on food at work ?

Hardly anything these days. Might spend £3 or £4 if I forget to make lunch or I get a really big hankering for burger king or something.

Aside from that, it's 50p on a can of coke or a bar of chocolate once a week or so.

problem I have is that i'm out driving all day so can only really stop at garages or supermarkets if i'm lucky
also I never used to drink coffee and now have 1 every morning

£2-3 a day, I hate it. Going to have to start bringing my own stuff in!

Unless you use cheap value bread and spread some jam on it, or use cheap reconstituted ham you're not really going to save much money over that!

I take pack up's now. It's so easy to spend a tenner a day on cob vans and shops! Proper waste of money.
Sorry, but that's the most northern post I've ever seen on a forum. Ever :p

Personally mine varies. When I work nights I eat dinner before I leave and take a sandwich. So spend nothing. If I'm working days and buy out its normally about £30 a week (soho prices..). Or of I'm working through I get a free lunch delivered to my desk. So I quite often work through :p

Less than I used to. When I first started working here I could easily spend £5 a day in the inhouse shop/canteen. I've gradually started bringing in my own food nowadays, but I still buy stuff from there on occasion. Can still easily spend £2 - 3 or more if I decide to buy a meal.

So do most people, its called breakfast :p Couldn't eat at like 7-8 though and not eat again till 6-7.

When I was working last summer I was spending like £20-25 a week probably, a few minute walk into town and just bought something there. When I start full time I will take my own lunch :p

But I work night's :)

Have my dinner about 7ish and that's it until 7 the next evening.

Cheese and tomato sandwich most made at home 3/5 days a week for me with a banana some crisps / other snacks :o

Mostly Pret the other 2 days I work in town, or Gregs! :D - probably spend more money on coffee a week than anything.

3-4 flat whites a week and the odd lunch probably brings me to £20 a week.

This.

Normally buy a flapjack in the morning if I don't have breakfast, 70p. For lunch its usually either £2 pasta from Tesco, or £2 Deli of the Day from McDs. Also sometimes get a drink/banana/nuts. If I'm feeling VERY hungry I'll buy a £1 tuna sandwich from Tesco to have mid afternoon as well.

I've been meaning to start making my own for ages now, but just never get the time. It would cost me £1 max to make about 150g of pasta, tin of tuna and 1/3 of pasta sauce. That would sort me for the day. Really need to start!

The canteen where i work used to subsidised by my work and i used to spend about £2.50 aday, but my company stopped doing that so now it costs around £5 for a meal and drink, needless to say i dont eat from there anymore.
