I use Apex (for that last ~3 months) and that blackout has never happened to me on the SGS2 - must be an S3 issue.

Have you ticked the keep in memory option?
 
It's incredible how sharp the 30Mbps video is. Several more million sales and at least one person who spots these "UFO"s in the sky might own an S3 that's got the camhack....at least one can hope :p


Also been checking out various screen protectors/cases....ROCK case wins, obviously ;)
 
Hi guys the wife wants a s3 which is rather annoying as I have to keep my s2 for another year. Anyway where does the best deal?

After it on orange panther which I see for £36pm free phone but who does best cash back with quidco?
 
Ok, so Nova still redraws but at least it doesnt make the screen go black and freeze everything for 5 seconds. some widgets popping in i can live with....until they fix it!
 
Screen redraw happens with me on touchwiz, although I'm rooted but don't think that has anything to do with it.

Am sure someone said earlier in this thread or another one that it's because Samsung have given the launcher a low priority.

Yep, keeps dropping out of memory. There's this guide if anyone wants to see if they can get further than me. I uploaded my services.jar and the website said it was already modified :o

Or just put on the latest omega rom. Not had a redraw with it and it has many other good changes.

I have the zipped APK file form his site for this but is there a flashable hack which can be installed using CWM or do I have to manually replace the old apk with the new one?

Can I use ES explorer to do this?

(I would much prefer a flashable hack but hey-ho)
 
So I'm using my new phone now and it's already dropped a lot of battery without being used much, looks like cell standby is causing a lot of drain on the battery. Any way to fix this?
