No full ram showing in windows?

Hey guys,

No biggie or anything but was wondering why my full 8GB of ram isn't showing in Windows or in Performance test?

What could be using my ram?

Very impressed with the performance of the system btw,A very noticeable performance boost going from a i7 860 + H55 board.

,Especially in BF3.

Do you have the onboard GPU enabled? Could be that using some space.

Look like he has a 2GB dedicated GPU installed. Ignore what the system window is telling you, this tells porkies when you overclock the CPU too

Well the 3570k has onboard HD4000 graphics but i assumed this got disabled as soon as you put in a dedicated card.

Yeah,I have a 6950 2GB.

Why 2gb and not 200mb?

Try turning on or off memory remapping in BIOS,seems igpu is reserving 100mb for igpu memory,you can disable onboard igpu if not used

Did you check it was actually disabled in BIOS?
