like many he/she just doesn't realise that the huge amounts spent on new/recon gearbox and turbo dont add much to its value

edit-probably just seats from the 'sport' model ? not sure


far far more overpriced cars out there. usually labelled as ''great for a 5/10/20 year old'' then turn out to be absolute sheds that are great for nothing

And OK maybe not the most epic bargain out there but just £2500 for a dog slow 12 year old diesel Golf with 180k on the clock, next to no options and a load of chavtastic mods (a decat? really? buy a faster car already) and some comedy pictures - I mean what buyer wants to know how much **** there was in the air filter?

Inlet manifold. Not air filter.. :p
 
iv seen worse. Dont know how its chavved out aswell. Its only had new lights and lowered. From what i see. Lets be honest, at least it dosnt have lexus replica lights :doh:

Ok they arent impreza type sporty but they do have the common VAG high side bolsters, the R32 seats arent a million miles from that shape.
The US console is a bad move as the handbrake is on the wrong side of the console, you will hit your knuckles on the other seat if holding it correctly.
To be honest, it looks like a guy who has an interest in cars but really hasnt followed through with all of the mods. I wouldnt pay 2.5k for that though.

Looks pretty similar to my Mk5 golf :confused:, those seats are anything but sporty though!

Tbh the car isnt that bad as far as chav mobiles go, ok the price its ridiculously optimistic. But other than the badge and single wiper mod most of its pretty much oem stuff, just not oem to that particular car :D

I'm interested to know what the US console brings to the table?

It's had quite a lot of purely cosmetic or marginally performance-oriented upgrades and only a few 'sensible' maintenance things.

Come on, it does 15s 0-60. An extra 1hp from a decat, aside from probably being illegal, is not going to make it a rocketship.. if you care that much about extra speed, pocket the cash from not changing the centre console etc, and buy a better car.
Maybe no Lexus lights but a 4mo valance..
 
I'd like those alloys for my golf, seem to be quite rare 2nd hand. Can't see how subtle mods make it chav though.
