New Sky HD EPG

I love how everything is getting a new look. First the HD EPG, now the Sky News website. http://news.sky.com/

Though the last few days I thought I had noticed the Sky News animations a bit different, more vibrant and other things. Then their site gets a new design.
 
as of this coming tuesday the new epg will be included in the software download stream. so after a while it will drop in by itself or could can force the box to do a downlad. There is a newer version of the epg going out to trial soon where anytime is rebranded as on demand and the epg will start featuring the shared planner function for accessing recordings from a HD skY+ on standard hd box in another room.
 
Got the new EPG.

The tv guide is worse. Slightly harder to see, and for some reason, they have removed the gaps between the channel types (Entertainment, food and lifestyle, movies etc). Much harder to browse than before.

Each to their own I guess. Love it myself...

Liking this idea of shared recordings though. Is this across any boxes? For instance I have a 1TB HD box and an ordinary Sky+ too. Can you share in both directions? Would it have the capability to downgrade an HD recording to be viewed on the Sky+ box?
 
I'm getting use to it, Do not like that it comes up with 4 options (chan,record etc) when you go to a tab (like docs) you then have to select channels to see the list of channels. Is it possible to change this back to how it was? annoying me.

Won't be possible with the sky+, only boxes with Ethernet such as another HD box or one of the Multiroom non sky+ HD boxes Sky do now.

For anyone who really wants this early, it is now on the download stream for DRX890 and 895 boxes.

To get it turn off your box, hold down the BACKUP button on the top of the box, power on and wait for the 4 LEDs to come on on the front of the box and the big message to come on screen. Release the button and wait!

As I say this works only on DRX890 and DRX895 boxes.

Where is this option? as I have a Sky+HD box plus 1TB. Wish I could transfer some stuff from the regular HD box to the 1TB.
