Yep its basically takes an image from you phone. But these back-up are massive about 1.6gbs. It backs up every but your SD card folders.
But when you do a full wipe your SD card is untouched anyway.

When you say Nandroid to you mean CWM? I use CWM to do a backup and it's exactly this, an Image that you can restore. it's great.
Cool thanks for confirming guys, I may need one shortly due to fubarring my phone while dropping it. 
I think "massive" is a relative term here... most phones have 32GB storage including SD card, and it's still tiny for storing on a PC drive.

I managed to fix the HD camera mod. I didnt realise you have to delete the SamsungCamera.odex file as well as replacing the apk.
Just tried it for 2 new vids and the bitrates are: 29.9 and 29.7Mbps for video and 196kbps for audio
I am assuming that nothing will break by not having the odex file present? Is the new file deodexed or something?
Some people asked how it compared for physical size to the old files - It basically doubled the file size for the equivalent length compared to the original camera:
Previous:
Clip 1 - 9 seconds = 17MB
Clip 2 - 15 seconds = 30MB
New Mod:
Clip 1 - 8 seconds = 30MB
Clip 2 - 4 seconds = 17MB
It works out about 255MB/min or near 16GB for 1 hour

I saw the white in a store the other day, looks ok, but need to see thed lue to be sure.
I had a white phone before and and it became a cream colour... so really not sure...
I was hoping everyone would just say one colour then I wouldn't still be here trying to make up my mind. 
I like the blue on it's own but I think that once I add a case it won't look as nice as the white.

Blue looks very nice with a case, watchu talkin' 'bout NinetyOne!
It can be argued (with various degrees of success depending on the case in question) that the white looks more of a toy when a case is attached too. I've seen plenty of cases on the white one now having got both colours in the household/family network!
