I managed to find that the other day too, seems like a decent price for a decent and relatively new game.Just picked up dirt showdown for £7.99 from a popular auction site, not sure how to go about saying the website if im allowed to or not so taking the plunge
I also managed to get a copy of Sonic Generations for £3.99 from the same auction site

Am I being incredibly thick, here? I signed into Amazon.com with my UK account, and added a US delivery address -- but every time I sign in again and try to buy something the billing address is automatically my UK one (which it has to be, for card authentication) and I can't purchase?

Try a different US address? I put in a US address (my old apartment complex out there) as my billing address, it automatically selected it and let me check out. The billing address does not have to be correct for small purchases, I remember being told that by a large retailer a long time ago and it hasn't failed me since.
good luck finding a game, i bought mw2 from amazon aswell was searching for a game for 20mins
Mainly after the SP, so doesn't worry me too much
