OK, so no-one else will find this interesting - but I had to tell someone about this.

I've been looking (on and off, I keep googeling every 18 months or so) for Journeyman 3 - Legacy of Time. I just found it on a website (not sure if OCUK would consider it a competitor - it sells good, old games) and it's downloading now!

Wow - super excited. Totally gunna be awake for far too long tonight!

Tell me oh mystical wise weaver of subtle hints where on earth you found this bounty.

I have scoured your post for nigh on ten seconds and not a trace of a shop can I find.

Truly your sorcery with letters knows no bounds and the mods will forever be wondering where you bought such delights...

;)

It's posts like this that make me wish OCUK forums had a 'like' button

OK I take back my sarcastic comment...I just passed the link on to the missus to read, the conversation went something like this...

Me - "Have a read of this, see if you can figure out where he bought the game"
Her - "I have no idea...they sell good old games?"
Me - *facepalm*
Me - *chortle*
Her - "what?"
Her - "Oh....GOG"

:D Ta!

Tell you what though, while I was looking on GOG I saw the Journeyman 2 - Buried in Time, just seeing that cover art again gave me a huge nostalgia trip.

I never actually played the game but I remember reading about it in my very early PC Gamer magazines...back when FMV was king and my computer couldn't run anything as it didn't have a maths co processor.

Buried in Time is the most memorable PC gaming experience of my life, better than finishing Monkey Island with my Dad.

Games are a bit dull now, they just don't hold my attention. I have high hopes for this one though.

On an unrelated note (think of a meanwhile screen in a comic book) the download has completed. Wish me luck!

Ha ha, have fun!

Yeah I think games are a bit dull now, I find myself playing the older games more than anything, they just had a certain magic to them.

Good luck with the gaming, why on earth are you still online here? :D

It's been in the gog thread for ages now, it's even listed on the front page...

Another one that doesn't visit the gog thread :(
