Worse Game ever ?

Why are people saying Empire:Total War?

It wasn't a bad game at all, I rather like it (though obviously not as much as Rome:TW)
It's just that musket armed Line Infantry mean that it played very different to previous TW games.

Hugo and Hugo 2 are definite contenders... :p

Err I remember that there was a saturday morning tv show, could have been live and kicking that had a interactive telephone game.

The Hugo ps1 games are the same thing afaik, imagine how awful they would be to play.

I always seem to dodge the bad games. I usually buy after user reviews and don't buy into this AAA hype nonsense.

Medieval Total War II was a huge disappointment on release, although tbh it was patched/modded into a good game. Sudden Strike II was also pretty terrible.

Yes, I remember having a line of archers and the entire enemy army just running round in circles in range of them, not really deciding what to do. Made me lol :D - even with its flaws I though it was a fantastic game.

He means the last 3rd of the first Crysis game :).

I sort of agree in that respect because up to that point it was a bit different, then they go and bring in all the alien stuff in. Overall I still think it is a pretty good game, especially as it still gets a mention when a new CPU/Mobo/GFX card/Modem is released :p

I always nominate Farenheit/Indigo Prophecy in these threads. After an very good first half hour to an hour the games descends into into a linear mish mash of ridiculously drawn out simon says events, nonsensical side events and culminating in possibly the most random, pointless and unfinished non endings in any game ever.

I really want to say Crysis 2 because of what it did to a series with huge potential. I felt personally betrayed by Crytek for what they did. But it's probably not even thwe worst game I've played.

The worst I've played was probably a terrible samurai game I had for the PS2. The controls were awful and really unresponsive and it's idea of fun was grinding for hours on end by slicing up bamboo trees.

Car't rememberer the name but it wos a games for PS2 which involvd you controlling sum kind ov mech suit thing.

Got it out the bargain bin. The campaign started with an intro video which was just still pictures of the characters with text boxes next to them. They didn't even bother with voice actors and it was unskippable. It was about 15mins long and boring as ****.

I went and ate something to kill the time until the gameplay started. It looked like a SNES era game and the controls were unbearable.

I think that's the only game where I've spent more time watching the cutscene than playing it. I couldn't bring myself to sell it on to some unsuspecting person so I just binned it.
