One of The Best Console game ever?

Probably.

I spent many hours on that game as a boy. Concentrating on collecting all the red coins and flowers in every level in order to unlock the extra areas.

Beautifully drawn. Brilliantly executed. Without a doubt the best game of its era.

Anyone else appreciate this classic?

I never played the SNES one, but I did play it on the GBA and loved it. It's one of my favourite Mario games.

Yeah it was Yoshi Story but it was actually the sequel to Yoshis Island.
