I've just built up my new Corsair 800D and i couldnt get the pc to post with the SSD in any of the hot swap drive bays i double checked all the cables where plugged in the right places but it just wouldn't work does this feature of the case support SSD ? i managed to get it to boot and recognise the ssd in the bios as primary boot device with the drive plugged stright into the motherboard so its not to much of a problem it just puzzled me why it wouldn't work
as my normal hard drive does work in the hot swap bays and is picked up in the bios and windows so i know the chip that the drives plug into works..
Iv always had a issue with having to turn on my pc 2 times to get windows to boot up (the first time gets to the windows load bar then the screen goes blank every time) so at first i thought it was linked to this issue and i think this is the motherboard on its way out ? after that reset the pc works fine though so to me this is a wierd problem that i've just left with fingers crossed that it always loads up in the end.
