Afghan Woman's Public Execution Slammed

I am sure the combined £16 billion pounds worth of bribes that have just been offered to Afghanistan will stop this sort of thing.
 
He walks up to within a couple of metres of her, says 'Allahu akhbar' (God is great), aims and fires twice, missing each time. The third shot hits her in the back, she flings her arms wide and collapses.

He then fires another six shots into her body as the crowd cheers wildly, shouting "Long live Islam", "Long live mujahideen (holy warriors)". The gunman then fires four more shots into her body.

What a coward, hopefully the next time he's firing at someone they'll have the means to fire back and do the world a favour.

It's backwards culture in a nutshell. We used to be just as bad centuries ago, and christianity was the delusion of the day. It's not the religion at fault, it's the culture.

Compare Malaysia with Afghanistan; both muslim majority countries but night/day difference.

As long as afghans keep treating their women like this; they can forget about making progress in their country.

3 decades of warfare has left them with nothing but country in ruins and destruction.

My best female friend is young afghan woman whom I met in college 12 years ago. I have not met any young woman who was as friendly and cheerful as her. I would hate for this kind of thing to happen to her. I am very glad she migrated to this country and is very warm hearted person.:)

I agree, I'm an Afghan, if the 'Taliban' continues with this behaviour and stupidness which has nothing to do with the culture, Afghanistan will never become peaceful, and I will never be able to visit my origin country.

I wouldn't view Malaysia as a basion of all the is good about Islam. On the surface and publically most things are moderated, but at local levels there is still plenty of gubbins going on. Not to the extremes of Afghanistan, but still lots of decisions made and judgement made going on someone intrepretation of what they think the Koran says. Lots of corruption and bribery at absolutely ever level of society.

Ofcourse.

These kind of things happen in every country and every religion has followers with different interpretations of religious texts.

My point was that Malaysia is still a forward thinking country with good infrastructure and economic prosperity.

And we and the US have just given this country training and arms so the can "defend" themselves from the Taliban

we have just armed the devil again, like the CIA did in the 80s to fight the USSR
