A discussion of camera straps..

This you Raymond?

Basically I've been lugging my 5DMKIIs around and the thought of having two cameras on each shoulder is a bit tiresome and having to switch between the two. My main problem is the straps at the moment because getting them 'flat' and not twisted can have an effect how I hold my camera and line up my shot.

Any good products to suggest what straps will work for this combo?

After a bit of research it might be something I'm looking to try. They're not cheap - £100 or so!

I heard a few reports of dropped camera's from using the Spider holster.

i had one briefly (was very good, i just dont do straps etc) not sure how youd manage that once clipped in, unless youre a ham fisted baboon..

I have a Black Rapid strap and it's awesome, they do some good dual camera systems as well but I'd feel like a dick using it. I prefer to just use a single Black Rapid and then have the other camera around my neck when I'm using both.

I went for the below strap, with Black Rapid fasteners. The main reason I went for this over the other cheap straps was because it was all black, there are no ugly yellow bit's anywhere so it shouldn't look out of place over a black shirt.
Besides, if it works.. I'm not in the least bit bothered if anyone thinks I look like a dick.

hmm, i recal the buckle being very sturdy. i remember i had the 1dmk3 and 70-200 clipped in and jumping around the lounge..

if so.. I think jumping on the bed would have been safer.
