Upgrade from a 560ti 448 core

The card above is BRILLIANT bang for buck. However, I want to upgrade, it's a pet hate not being able to whack a game to max settings and play haha.

BF3 has to have the smoke and effects turned down to high from ultra with no AA... It hurts :(

Also, running at 1920x1080.

What's the GPU usage is like during those moments? And what CPU you using? If GPU usage is not at 99%, and the issue is more to do with on the CPU side...
 
BF3 ultra with 4xMSAA needs 1.5gb of VRAM+ to run smoothly
this is the most likely issue (unless you are using a dual core CPU)

I went through 560ti 1GB, 570 1.25GB to 580 1.5GB before BF3 was smooth - all on a Q6600 and my GPU utilisation was 99% on all of them and only dropped to 95% when the 580 was OC'd
