Why post a video of ronnie coleman when we're speaking about MMA stars?

I think as has been said its 'likely' that most heavyweights use or have used steroids, whether that is right or wrong is kinda irrelevant as there is no way to know for sure. All i know is most of the MMA fighters ive seen in heavyweight division are too big and too lean to be natural only, but thats only my opinion not a fact.

Oh and the laughter after coleman was asked about steroids? Quality!

Because they are all top level natural athletes.

Your sig m8 whilst possibly used by tesla wasnt his quote it was from Bhagavad Gita and Famously used by Oppenheimer upon completion of the Manhattan project.

Source

J. Robert Oppenheimer, American physicist and director of the Manhattan Project, learned Sanskrit in 1933 and read the Bhagavad Gita in the original, citing it later as one of the most influential books to shape his philosophy of life. Upon witnessing the world's first nuclear test in 1945, he later said he had thought of the quotation "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds", verse 32 from Chapter 11 of the Bhagavad Gita.[62][63]

Sorry i hate sigs that mis quote

edit - in fact its one of those changing ones and so far i think they are all wrong lol, in which case i might be missing something

pro sports starts is using drugs shocker!!

its obvious the majority of top level pro's who dont get tested a lot will be using one thing or another.

just look at football, how many young players have dropped with mystery heart problems the last few years and all anyone can say is what a shame it is. no its a shame that thanks to half arsed testing in football, players know they can get away with a lot and do serious damage to themselves.

boxing is another one, the uk board is at least trying to get a handle on it now, but in the states testing seems to be very hit and miss with fighters sometimes point blank refusing to be tested on specific days and promotors only wanting tests on set dates.

cycling for the amount of people caught is actually probably one of the cleaner sports thanks to the huge amount of testing that goes on, wiggins when he got the yellow jersey last week he was tested the next morning as happens to all stage winners or anyone who sticks in a big effort it seems now.

overeem (acording to wiki) is 6'5 and 265lbs now he could be naturaly that big but the change in his body the last few years id say he's had help to gain a huge chunk of that muscle but so have many others, look at brock lesnor after he'd been out of the wwe for a year or so he'd lost a good 40lbs thanks to not being in a enviroment which pushes drugs or at least doesnt test (no matter what vince has claimed over the years).

even arnies admitted to taking roids when he was body building, he claims it was to maintain but whatever he's at least being honest that he was on something. which makes ronnie claiming he's not a joke as he's a monster compared to what arnie was at his height and better nutritianal info wont make you that much bigger.

biggest problem though is the cost of testing, not sure if its come down at all but a few years ago i was talking with one of the guys in charge of the uk american football league and he admitted he'd love to have the ability to test teams randomly but test prices where £2500 a pop hopefully these costs will drop so more people in sport can be tested as it would clear a lot of things up in many sports. IF they where willing to test there atheletes in the first place mind.

Personally if you compete in any competition where by taking gear gives you an advantage (when everyone else isn't) you're a cretin and a despicable cheating scumbag. I'd rather see people achieve what they achieve in their own merits and efforts rather than by cheating.

Sure if like bodybuilding when everyone is doing it then fine if that's what you want to do.

I still have more respect for natural people. I know the effort required is still high but that's just how I feel.

Then again I'm only 205lbs @ 15% <3 x

Agree really.

I would rather all BB'ing comps were natural. May open it up to more people then.

i just wish they would test properly for stuff and anyone who gains too much to soon gets tested more just to make sure.

if the story i heard from a guy i know who owns a gym and suppliment store is true the money involved to win a olympia is just insane, and it cant be anywhere near healthy for the volume of stuff they will be taking.

My thoughts on it are that the steriods and performance enhancers should be allowed and just have split level competition.

For peolpe that want to do it let them, they run the risk and put there bodys through the issues of dealing with the usage.

This would stop issues over drug testing timing and cycling etc. People would have no issues taking the tests and then everyone is treated on par. The users get there competition/stage, and the nattys get theres.

This doesnt mean i agree/support the use of drugs in any sense of the manner, i am natty and my is is to look as good as possible and lift big as a natty, but i feel this would remove the whole obfuscated aspect of it all.

Then suddenly no one gives a hoot about the natty level of competition, and everyone watches the assisted tier, which in turn leads to all the money being in the assisted tier, which again, in turn means natty people have no choice but to move over to the assisted tier

Which is pretty much how it is today anyway unfortunately

Who would you rather watch? A 100m final full of runners on performance enhancers where you might see a world record broken and truly ridiculous pace? Or natty runners where you might just see sub 10s time...

Personally? Natty runners. Honestly. Because I know how hard they must have worked to get there, and that potentially I could be like that maybe if I had the same genetics.

That's why I find nature so incredible, the animal kingdom and everything else, there is so much we can do naturally, we don't need to do anything any other way (IMO.)

But unfortunately mate, you are the minority :( For the average couch potato that makes up the 99% of the audience, they're only interested in seeing the most exciting sport that they can for the money that they pay. And for these sports to pay the ridiculous wages they do, they need to keep getting that money from Mr couch potato

So post-diet binge at Stoodle's went well. Never have I eaten so much food in my life - here's a few pics of our Nando's on Saturday. Bear in mind this is just between me and Steedie:

Strong cheesecake of peace. In hindsight, four cakes between two was a bit ambitious - but we polished it all off! And I even had room for cheesy chips and a kebab after we went out for a few drinks xD

So, I came back horribly watery and puffy. To be expected after a binge, but **** me sideways did I feel excellent compared to before. I was 73.2kg when I went down on Saturday, I was 79kg when I weighed myself on Tuesday! This morning I was 77.7kg, so the water is slowly draining out which is good. No topless photos until I lose the rest of the water weight, but it's great having the pump back and my vascularity is scarily at an all time high!

Unfortunately I spent last night puking my guts up for some reason. Don't know what's caused it...... But I'm feeling alright today, so back to eating!

thats eating at nandos for you, cant stand the place personaly always feel crappy afterwards.

and Syla5 the reason there seems to be a problem in cycling is they get tested more than any other sport out there. just imagine the state of football if they got tested half as much as cyclist.

I'm dieing and my body is falling to bits. Just about perfect timing for a holiday next week!

Traps hurt, neck hurts, flexibility is being lost in lower back and ankles!
Rest time before coming back and starting the mission to get stronger again.
Plan is to grow also, but that's now a maybe as there are some 121kg comps being planned which might suit me better!!

My opinion on PEDs: if there is a natty comp/fed then testing needs to be done often enough to stop people being off cycle come comp time and be clean.

If you enter a comp with no set 'natty' rules or testing then you are accepting you will be against other nattys and potentially roid users. As you accept it you can't whinge about it.
This is one of those things in strongman, lots of people on gear and not many natty comps (and those that do occur have very limited testing due to cost naturally), so just have to better than every one the way you want to be.

The comments about Big Ron - he laughs off steroid usage because he makes a lot of money (for him and for companies) based on him saying their legal products work. Anyone with 2 brain cells knows he has been on gear for years.
