Chris Moyles leaves Radio 1

As long as he doesn't do the usual thing for former Radio 1 DJs and join the civilised folk at Radio 2.
 
Dislike the music they played, but kinda liked the banter.
Sometimes he peeved me off with his arrogance / puling rank on the others in the team making you feel uncomfortable, but all in it was a good run and had to end sometime.

I suspect a lot of people here would jump the "hate the fat arrogant bastwward" bandwagon, but the facts/numbers don't lie, he's very popular.
 
I think with Grimshaw taking over that Radio 1 are about to loose a large chunk of their morning listeners. However the Beeb seem to believe Radio 1's audience is to old anyway & they are trying to refocus on the 15-29 demographic.
 
Radio 1 used to be epic with Mark and Lard then Chris Moyles in the afternoon. It went downhill when M&L left and then even worse when Scot Mills took over in the afternoon. Very rarely listen to the radio now.
