samsung galaxy s3 for £28.50 a month

They're part of phones4u so absolutely fine, I've just picked one up for £26pm from mobiles.co.uk who are also good to go as I've used them in the past and they're part of CPW.

Yeah nothing wrong with that your contract will be with orange anyway. :)

I've stuck with O2 - but they were able to offer me a good retention deal to keep me sweet - and so am paying just over £20 for exactly the deal I want, though I did have to fork out £150 for the phone, but my iphone is selling on ebay with bids at ~260 at the moment so it's all good. :)

So your deal is fantastic considering you're getting the phone for nothing - right colour too ;)

Real men go white :p

Looks like thats the phone I'll be getting then, sweet seeing as I thought I was going to have to go with the galaxy s2 or even a lower spec, only thing is it says delivery 2-4 weeks, my current contract runs out in 2 weeks this fri so may have to go pay as you go for a few weeks :(, ah well worth it for that phone I think.

Right, I'm planning getting the S3 sometime this month. Gotta wait till Monday before i can get my PAC code. So not long left.

Whats the best deal out there at the moment? Gona try to get Retentions to do me a deal if that's possible.. If not then move on.

Mins i need minimum 300, text I'll be happy with 500 and internet allowance i use roughly 700/800mb a month.

It depends on what you what. I hardly need call time, but texts and data are important to me. I get a corporate discount too, so I get a good 20% discount on my contract - however irrespective of that I'd not want to pay more than £20 a month.

I've tracked my data usage and I hit 500+ only twice in a 12 month period as I use wifi a lot. I use about 100 mins a month, and over 400 texts a month on average.

So you've got to try and be as pragmatic and honest as possible - look back over your bills. There are so many deals out there, and there's just often no need to spend £40+ on a contract.

Yea same here. I can't justify paying anything more then £26 a month. Too much for me. Anything up to £26 is acceptable for.

Plus £30 cash back from topcashback or quidco and a couple of months half price by redemption.

what i would like to know about this offer is, just say i go over the 750mb limit, do i get charged?

Beacuse im with tmobile now on a sim only deal. Get 1gb, but if i do go over never get charged. Is it the case with this?

Just ordered this myself. Works out at £26~ with the Quidco cash back offer. Was going to go for the other cheaper option but didn't really know how redemption works and would probably forget about it. I tend to use around 400-500 minutes anyway so thought better be on the safe for only £2 more a month. Went for the White version as wasn't liking the 2-4 weeks delivery but it will be in a case anyway so doesn't really matter.

Hi All, this is what Orange Retentions just offered me, going to decide before tomorrow afternoon, what do you all think?

Samsung Galaxy S3 - 18 Month - £28.50pm (£36 - 7.5 Loyalty Disc) Phone = £60 (400 Mins, Unltd Txt, 1GB Data)

That suits my usage completely, I was quite sure it was a good deal, I was very polite with the cust service lady, who transfered me to another woman, I hinted at the S3 on an 18 month, as I couldn't find a decent deal on any 18 month contracts.

I can downgrade half way and keep my £7.50 loyalty so it could look like this:

28.5 * 9 = 256.50
23.5 * 9 = 211.50
Phone £60
Total - £528

So what does everyone think? To good for me to turn down or have I been silly and not looked it the usual places for decent contract deals?

Your opinions always greatfully received.

Jim.:)

Yeah, you cant use things like youtube iirc but webpages load fine and you can read emails and so on. I used to have t-mobile but I hated the data speeds, but if your all good on your sim only I dobt the price could be matched.

^^ that orange contract is a very good deal, works out only £29 more than the SIM only price and you are getting an 18 month contract out of it. Be silly not to go for it.

It would be silly to ignore it. Had a play with an S3 in the Orange Shop this morning, quite impressed. Especially with the pinch multi task gesture using the browser, a lot better than my original Galaxy Tab.

So retentions called back and I accepted the deal on a Blue S3.

3-5 days delivery, I suppose its popular, she said they had just cleared their backorders. Im happy!

Nice deal, do you get magic numbers with that, also when was your current deal due to come to an end?

Best I could get was :-

Blue Galaxy S3 free
£36 a month for 18mths
400minutes
1gb internet
unlimited txts
keep all my magic numbers
2 free swapables

My contract is due to end 21 of Aug.

I'm pretty much in the same boat here, how do I go about pushing retentions to keep me on contract? Do I phone up and ask for my PAC code to be released?
