Where did I imply that it's only because he's black? I didn't, I expressed my lack of surprise that the father was black, based entirely on my prior experience of these kinds of situations.

I suppose it's equally racist that I wasn't surpised that the mother was white?

I'm aware that freedom of speech no longer exists where it pertains to matters of race, that's fine, but if you and other posters are immediately going to spout OMG RACISTZ whenever an opinion counters your own, you're not going any way to making me think that you're anything other than inexperienced liberal douches who think being considered socially conscious is fashionable.

But I won't consider you in that group as you've provided enough intelligence in your post to counter that.

I fail to see the racism in his post to be honest. For a start he mentioned it's the same for many white men too. All he said is he wasn't surprised by the ethnicity of the children and Shoes even backed this up himself by saying it's true that there are a lot of these types of families (a lot does not mean the majority by the way). It doesn't exactly scream "ALL BLACK MEN ARE LIKE THIS!" to me.

Congratulations.

I also know of a few white mothers where the black fathers ran out as soon as they got pregnant leaving them to raise the kids alone with no support. Is that entirely representative? No. but it happened nonetheless, and forgive me the assumption but I think you'll find there are many more cases of the above than your situation.

Believe it or not I've had good friends of ethnicity my entire life, but I'm not going to sugar coat or deny unpalatable facts about modern Britain as a result.

Also, I'd be happy to say anything to your face mate. How is communicating on a forum where the only method of which is typing 'hiding?'

Why bring race into it at all? You don't think there are any single mothers out there with white fathered children who have had their white men run out? Show me facts, statistics, instead of hiding behind your examples and personal experiences.

The tone of your post was most obvious, if ethnicity was irrelevant then you wouldn't have mentioned it at all. The comment about white fathers was an after thought and reads like one.

No being surprised that the female is white? Why is that not racist? Well it is, however, we are a predominantly white country, so the odds are in favour that at least one of them would be white.

Are you insinuating that black men only go for white girls for a hump and dump? If so then you're reaching paradoxical levels of racism... being racist about the perceived racism of someone of another race.... ouch my brain hurts.

I'm just going to go back to my original comment. Get out.

I'm not hiding behind anything, I'm posting in a topic to pass the time. So my opinion is only valid if I'd turn up for a meet?

Well I'm going to state my opinion again, I'm sure they can be a laugh but the idea of a meet of strangers from a computer forum (me included) is not my idea of fun.

I bought race into it because it's my opinion. I also stated very clearly that white men do this all the time in my opening post, I fail to see the issue here other than it counters your opinion and you simply couldn't deal with it in an adult fashion.

I'm sure the stats do exist but they will be locked away somewhere never to be seen for politically correct reasons, for that reason we can only go by our personal experience.

If you really break this down, this is an issue of freedom of speech and the fact that in Britain we simply don't have it any more pertaining to issues of political correctness.

*Ive skipped every page up till now, so if the topic has changed dramatically, sorry :p*

I dont agree with it, but my mam had me at 16 and my daughter was born when I was 16. Obviously if your parents have done it, your slightly more inclined to do the same.

I wouldnt encourage people to do it, but I agree with her, when my daughters 13, Ill be 29, Ive got the rest of my life to live while others my age will just be hitting the baby bumps.
Plus having a child at a younger than normal age pushes those with ambitions harder. I dropped out of uni due to the pressure of having to travel 100+ miles a day and look after my girl, but now Im in college doing what I want getting distinctions across the board and have been offered scholarships to the 3 local universities to me for travel and child care costs.

Also, I dont claim benefits, Ive got 2 naft part time jobs, but I refuse to claim benefits.

It's extremely ironic that any liberal counter point almost always ends up resorting to insults, we are in genuine danger of losing freedom of speech in this country.

I bought race into it because it's relevant to this exact situation and it's my truthful opinion pertaining to it. Do I believe all black men see white women as dumping grounds? Of course not.

You want to resort to your original comment, fine, well here's mine, you're a liberal douche more concerned with how that view is perceived from a fashionable standpoint than for any reason of genuine integrity of opinion.

If it directly pertains to the situation or my opinion of it then it's relevant.

Look, to paraphrase South Park, it's either all OK or none of it is.

As evidenced by this topic, genuine freedom of speech simply doesn't exist any more unless you want to toe the BBC oh so politically correct line.
