Hi. Im still having problems with HDMI to HDMI from my graphic card to TV. My TV is KDL-32EX703 and my graphic card is a MSI gtx 670. When i put DVI in to my Graphic card and the HDMI into the TV i get a picture and same with DVI to RGB but as soon as i put HDMI to HDMI i get no signal and no picture comes up. Ive just been looking at nvidia web site

http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-670/specifications

Under display support it says its got HDMI but after the I in HDMI at the top in a very small number it has 4 as you can see in the link.

It doesnt say which version on the TV spec it self for the HDMI but the cables there selling for the TV says but the 5m, HDMI® 1.4, supports 3D, Blu-ray Disc™, PlayStation®, BRAVIA® Sync, Ethernet which it says 1.4.

Is where it says 4 on the nvidia HDMI is that the version of HDMI it needs?. Could this be the reason why my TV will not work in HDMI to HDMI but in DVI to HDMI as the DVI is converting it back into 1.4?.

Hope you understand this.

Many thanks.

Make sure what ever input you are using is set to PC (and not TV).
So if you're plugging the hdmi cable from your pc into hdmi 1 (on the tv), check that HDMI1 is set to PC.
Some TV's can be funny like that. You can tell the tv what each input is.

When you say make sure it set to pc and not TV do you mean in the Setup Digital Audio. As i can only get in there if i use DVI to HDMI or DVI to RGB. From top to bottom it says.

DVI: Sony TV
DVI: No audio capable display available
HDMI: No audio capable display available
DisplayPort: No audio capable display available

Both DVI and HDMI have a tab to open so i can turn Audio of but i can only open the 1st DVI the other DVI and HDMI are grayed out and the DisplayPort not even grayed out its not got even a tab and just says No audio capable display available.
