Hmm.. it was nothing special tbh! Once it all ended I was like, IS THAT IT!?!? They made an exclusive detour to our Egham office and did two circuits of the site, but I think because it was employees only that meant the atmosphere wasn't as good (not many people cheering and stuff.) I'm sure the atmosphere would've been much better at the High Street!

I was outside the Blackberry headquarters. Where were you? P&G?

Well it's a Blackberry building, perhaps not a HQ. It's at the junction just before the train-station, nr the High Street! It was pretty farcical, actually... the torch coverage cut-out for Egham itself, with all the thousands of people there, but they of course restored it for the corporate sponsors :o I thought the whole thing was a load of b*llocks, personally. We had about 5 advertisement floats go past, telling us to 'drink Coca Cola' and 'bank with Barclays', and then the torch-guy legged it through pretty quick carrying what looked like a bit of industrial piping with a match on the end. The Olympics is a load of hype.

There's quite a few Egham people on here then? We should have a drinks meet. I'll bring the Ribena.
