It's a good job the pyramids are not in England; damn ****** and chavs stole all the local stone slab footpaths from near the village I grew up in, scumbags took away hundreds of years of history for patios.
Think the idiots would be putting a huge dent in Egypt's income if they keep going and taking away the pyramids, they might as well just demolish a good proportion of the tourist industry. Lets face it they start acting like that people will not visit regardless of weather they just like the beach or want to see history, tourists don't go for jihad style countries.
On another note I feel sorry for the minority religions over there, this must be a hell of a time to be non muslim.

Both Mecca and Medina have been stripped of almost all their original historical Islamic art and architecture including mosques and the widespread destruction of Islamic holy sites . The Wahhabis have taken their religion and twisted it out of all recognition so they think that anything that might be considered a proxy is shirk and therefore must be destroyed......although how they can justify destroying early mosques, birthplaces, holy sites, tombs and Islamic gravesites associated with Mohammed and his followers, yet still revere the Kaaba is beyond me.

Easy. You take a small group of men with small power tools and remove the top blocks of each pyramid. That way the entire tourism industry then has to refer to them as the Great Frustums.

I just think the media portrays vandalism of heritage sites a lot when it's a conspicuous Muslim brigade doing it, but largely glosses over the immense amounts of damage to culture and world heritage that the two wars in Iraq/Afghan have done, that is all. A pretty rational point, I feel.
