So,
got me new Panasonic TX-47ET5B the other day, well impressed with it.
Went out to buy a couple of 3d blurays and found that no one has Avatar 3d on bluray. What gives?
The film has been out nigh on 2 years now. Has the 3d bd version not been released?

Can you recommend any other good 3d action movies please?

Got the same one 2 weeks ago, great telly for the price!

Avatar is tied to Panasonic for the time being,it should be on general Release later in the year, hopefully!
John Carter 3D is great, though I have the US disc as there is some sound problem with the UK ones...

I also enjoy:
Drive Angry
Transformers:Dark of the Moon
Green Hornet
Captain America

any Horrors you like? There's always the Pixar ones too. :)

Avatar was held as an exclusive, panasonic bundled at some point in time with their tv's.

I can recommend pirates 4, by far the best live action 3d iv'e seen on the tv, better than the cinema release.

Waiting hard on pirates adventures in science, the animated film, missed it at the pictures due to being stacked at work.

The 3d trailer at the cinema looked friggin ace.

Also i recommend checking out the 3d stuff on youtube, good for trailers.

You can get Avatar 3D from fleabay but I know another site that sells it for around $25 (PM me if you want details)

Thanks for the input guys, last night i bought 3d bd of Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, none of us have seen it yet so that will be saturday nights viewing with me my 14yr old lad and my twin 18yr old step sons.
I also bought Contact and V for Vendetta, obviously not 3d but they were only £5 each.
Watched Transformers: Dark of the moon on Sky last night and let the tv convert it to 3d. Some of it looked really good, but some of the 'guesswork' done by the tv is a little off the mark. Green Lantern converted really well though for most of it.

Yeah, the Tv conversions can be hit and miss.... although Avatar looks good and Videogames work well! Played Rage in 3D conversion mode and it looked great.Crysis and Crysis 2 are native 3D and look great. (and really good FPS's to boot!)
