Was going to get the Bethesda pack but was very disappointed that it doesnt have fallout 3 or oblivion. Seems to me like an upsale on skyrim i.e. you want skyrim well have some 2nd rate games as well for a similar normal sale price. Not happy.
I've noticed an increasing trend towards this with the packs on Steam; you used to get a lot of "Complete" or at least very expansive packs perhaps minus any very recent title that was still selling at full price. Nowadays there seems to be a lot of cutdown packs with titles missing. Some examples from current sale:
-Rockstar "Hits" Collection, only has 4 games in it compared to big pack in the past.
-2K collection, only has 7 games in it for £40
-THQ collection WTF, I bought a massive pack from THQ back in 2009 (to be fair this has modern games in it, but it is missing some golden oldies).
-Bethesda and id software packs have somehow diverged? Same company innit, used to have a big pack all together
My eyes lit up when I saw a Ubisoft collection as I want Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, but it isn't in it
Activision Hits Collection is kinda taking the **** a bit, they want £35 for 10 games of which half are from 2005 and earlier, the other half of which not big names and have IIRC been heavily discounted to under a fiver in the past.
Current community vote is annoying as the only game I don't have is Saints Row 3 and I hated SR2, thought it was atrocious.
