Your sure it's only 170lbs? Because that's Not A Lot™. Even 170kgs is Not Much™.

Pretty sure it's lbs as I'm currently doing 160kg on the plate loaded leg press and it's far far far harder.

Edit, from my recovery thread:

Noticed there's some pressure in my chest, especially where (on the right side) the 2nd costal cartilage and sternal angle meets my sternum and it was a little pronounced. I felt a big POP as I was stretching and doing a few push ups and the pressure was gone.

Not the first that has happned, feels so odd but that pop feels like a knuckle being cracked and feels amazing after.

Hips are so tight :\ despite warming up fine I really struggled with depth on squats today, to the point where I stopped and started using machines. Did a fair bit of soft tissue stuff on them and they're a bit better, still pretty tight though.

Guess that's what happens when you're not very flexible and you're squatting/deadlifiting every session?

Yesterday:

Bench Press:
30kg x 10
50kg x 5
83.5kg 5x5

Squat:
60kg x 10
100kg x 5
145kg 5x5

WG Pull up
5x5

Making good use of the 0.5kg plates with presses.

Tonight's back/tricep hypertrophy training. Weights weren't too bad, can probably increase them on quite a few. Need to tweak a few exercises.

Seated Cable Rows
57.5x12, 65x12, 65x12
CG Pull Downs
50x10, 57.5x10, 65x10
Rack Chins
BWx10, BWx11, 20x10, 27.5x8
Chest Supported Rows
30x8, 30x10, 30x10
CGBP
70x10, 80x10, 80x10
Rope Extensions
25x10, 25x10, 25x10
Push Downs
25x10, 25x10, 25x10
Kick Backs (per arm)
7x10, 7x10, 7x10
15 minutes leg/hip stretching

triceps are ruined.

The variation from machine to machine can be massive! And surprisingly a 170kg stack really is easy, also the forces on your back could be very different and make one seem a lot harder then the other.

I would be shocked at any gym having a leg press that only goes up to 77kg

Positive it's 170lbs as I use to do lots of sets after squating as well last year.
All the machine they had cept the new ones were in lbs.

Eat more ;)

I found that my recovery while I was bulking was immense, now while cutting it sucks haha chow down and enjoy :D

Take a pic of said machine and google it to see

You want me to travel 2 hours to go to a college gym, then take a pic?

I know it's lbs, as the people working there has also stated it, and it's been in lbs for 5 years of my time there and before that.
It's wee easy to use and the reason we argued for a power rack was because of how light the machines were.

You also don't have to tell me about different loads on backs, I have 100% first hand experience with All of that.

EDIT: still had one of the employees from the college gym on FB, yup it's 170lbs when I just asked him. Always has been.

Oops thought the one you were talking about was at your current gym, lol of course I don't expect you to go 2 hours just to take a pic.

Mate. I feel **** most mornings! Haha! :D

Sigma: You're now doubt tight because as you say, you're squatting most sessions, so you're going to be tight due to doms and the like. Just make sure you stretch everything chap after the workout or the next morning or something. It should ease up
