***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

TBH I can't see why it won't be waterproof. It appears to be a soft rubbery case with the only opening being an oval shaped gap on the back which is used to insert the phone with. This is then covered with sealing tape....

Would I submerge mine? Nope but I would certainly be confident with this case if, for example, I get caught out in the rain or something spills on it....

Well the rock case passes the drop test!

Placed the phone on my wallet face down on the shelf this morning and 30 seconds later heard a loud smack The phone had slipped on the sloped wallet surface and fallen 5 feet onto laminate flooring.

No damage, not even a scratch at all on anything. Phew!

Shame that you didn't make a video.

FAO anyone whose got an SD Card in there as well.

Can you take the burst photo on the camera (so it takes 20 shoots automatically), where do the photos save?

When I take single pictures it stores them on the SD card but when I do burst mode it stores them on the actual device. Very, very annoying!

Sorry you'll have to repeat the test at least 5 times before we're satisfied :p

Lucky lucky lucky! :p

I should have placed it back side down so it would not have slipped to be honest as the screen is very slippery!

An update on the battery life I was slating yesterday. Had my S3 exchanged yesterday due to heavy pink spots on the camera. The battery on my new one seems to be a lot better. Only down to 72% after 1h 15m screen on time (100% brightness, natural screen mode). A considerable improvement!
