£14 on Steam atm - wait and see if it goes in a sale daily between now and July 23rd
I got Total War: SHOGUN 2 DLC - Rise of The Samurai £1.60 from amazon slightly cheaper via steam at £1.49, I got carried away. As to your question at the price being asked I would take the chance with the DLC that appeals to me. If you want some in-depth feedback take a gander at the forums at www.twcenter.net for all things Total War related.
Btw, it works out slightly cheaper to get Rise of the Samurai off Steam instead of Amazon.

I just got Shogun 2 a from Amazon and Rise from Steam.
Got Fall last week off Amazon for £4.80 as well so am well chuffed.
I went ahead and bought the Collection pretty much giving me rise of the samurai free
Now I feel like a chump!

Not seen Fall cheaper then that price.
Can still be had for $9.99 (£6.47ish) from GameStop today in their flash sale, only 500 keys available. Fall does not appeal to me, but from reading around your getting a lot of game at a very reasonable price.

I'm sure space marine was on sale via steam for a fiver not long back so it might be worth waiting for it to pop up on a daily/flash sale
For the people talking about Shogun 2 it's like this.
Shogun 2 Rise of the Samurai is the easiest campaign by quite a lot, its just Samurais vs peasants.
Shogun 2 standard campaign is the middle ground, generally quite easy but you can get overwhelmed easily.
Fall of the Samurai is by far the hardest, there have been times I've been taken out in the first year.

Agreed, with Fall of the Samurai other clans will put a full stack of troops right behind your front lines and then bombard everything within range. Certainly takes a lot of forward planning!
