Background:

I'm about to move in with a friend, so I'll be freeing up about £300 a month on rent / bills.

I save about £500 a month into savings / pension.
I donate 10% of my income to charity.
I have about £400 a month spare after everything else is taken care of - help me spend it!

:D

Here are some things I won't spend money on:

Car
Travel / holidays (I travel a lot for my work and currently have plans to take a year off anyway)
Mobile phone contract
Charity (already donate)

Here are some of my ideas (I like food, health, fitness, music, film, books and prefer to experience things rather than accumulate "stuff"):

Regular massage (I lift weights, so this could be a good complement)
Yoga / T'ai Chi classes (ditto)
Regularly dining out
Always buying the luxury foods when shopping
PC upgrade (haven't done this in a long time!)
23andme (genetic tests)
Randox (health checks)
Movie rental / streaming subscription

How about a wine club? Get 12 bottles delivered every now and then. That way, you'll always have decent(ish) wine in the house and you'll be learning about wine. BBR is the one to go for I believe, though the Spectator club also seems pretty good. Looking at £100-£200 for a case.

lol this is a silly question to ask, spend it socialising? going clubbing, golfing, outdoor activitys. I would!

Two heads is better than one as they say. I'm just after as many ideas as possible and we can all learn from one another's experiences.

Not a bad idea. Thanks!

You said no car, which is sensible because it's a depreciating asset. Had you considered a classic car? They typically don't depreciate, some actually go up in value, free tax and cheap insurance :)

Bolivian marching powder. Party your nose right off your face!

And I imagine that it aint cheap either so i'm sure it'll take up plenty of that spare cash!
