Anyone got any opinions on a good router to use with the hub? I'm gonna wait for R36 but if the wireless doesn't get better I'm investing in a router.

Been having a lot of disconnections lately. Could it be that my area is getting upgraded and the work is causing the dc or would the upgrade not effect my connection stability?

This new firmware is just ridiculous. 1/2 the ping and 1/4 the jitter from a firmware update?!

If you turn off and on and then log into the hub it may not have finished updating. Took about 2 minutes until the login screen changed to new one.

If you really have to get a router don't spend a lot on one or see if you can get a DIR-615 from VM.

i've been beta testing R36 for along while, and i've found it much better...

Think the firmware disables some form of "buffering" or something, which helps the pings and jitter.

I believe those on the "older" packages IE myself on 50MB will have to wait as much as i few days for R36 to hit us.

those asus routers are an overkill for most people.

The Samsung I linked for 30quid (normally 100quid) earlier and a Dlink 615 10-25quid (can be dd-wrt'd) will be aweseome for most people.

The Asus is being banded like everyone needs one when they really don't - it sounds to me that anything is better than the crappy superhub!

Anyone know how much of a difference in wireless there is between these two? I want good wireless signal downstairs in my house currently using just the Superhub its in the top right corner of my house atm

If there isn't much difference then i'd get the n56u
