Hey guys,

I've managed to wangle myself an Asus DirectCU II 6970 from a certain auction site, which I received this morning, however I now find myself in the position where by my ole faithful Coolermaster Black Widow will not swallow this behemoth (note to self: measure, double measure and triple measure before buying new cards!) :(

My full system is in my sig however I wanted to get some opinions on suitable cases for this beast that is going to both house it easily but also give great airflow (I think its goin to get slightly hot LOL!) as well as not breaking the bank (say no more than £100-110) especially since I'm gunna have to buy fans, fan controller etc as everything in the Coolermaster isn't going to be transferable, like the 80mm fans. Doesn't have to be a full sized case...

I've been looking so far at the Fractal Arc Mini but also the Coolermaster CM-690 advanced however wanted to get other opinions first...

Ideally I'd like something that looks good but matches it with the performed necessary, like the Black Widow did and still does :)

Cheers

Unfortunately yes :( I know I could dremel it but considering its still in perfect condition, doing that would be a shame so easier to give it a new role and get a new case :)

Its not out by MUCH, like literally a few millimeters clearance would do the job as the power connectors are on the front of the card, rather than the side.

I may have another go at fitting it again but angling the card into the thing otherwise its definitely a case change :(

cant go wrong with an NZXT Phantom

houses my 6970 with plenty of room to spare,

also makes a good place to stick small children
