Hey guys, looking for a replacement case because mine is getting a bit cramped and I just cannot get it tidy! I'm getting a new PSU too.

The criteria:

Large! Currently in a coolermaster 335 elite; (W) 185 x (H) 411 x (D) 450 mm (without the front panel attached), so would like a bit bigger than this. Or the same size with better use of space (bottom PSU? The new sideways HDDs??) It needs to be able to house my 158mm Heatsink, and my current case does it will only a few millimetres to spare.

Some way to manage cables

Space for a 120+mm front and rear fan(s)

One free 2.5" front panel slot for my card reader

other than that... I don't really know what makes a case a good case!

I don't need LEDs or USB 3/firewire/sata

I want to avoid the butt ugly (for instance, this thing: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-009-AE&groupid=701&catid=7&subcat=2277) cases.

Cheers!

Wow, there are loads of versions of the Shinobi, Would there be any disadvantage to having one without the sidewindow? And what is the "core" version? It looks like the difference is the interchangable logo and mesh strips, but it says those are not included anyway...

That case, does it have intake fans i cant see the mesh, i am looking for a new case for my new build at the end of the month and so far i have chocsen the corsair carbide but that shinobi is nice.

It has 120mm included in the front and space for another 120mm, it draws air from the long thin mesh panels going down the front.

The side window has space for a 120mm and lets you show off your components :p So it depends if you want that or not I suppose.
The core edition is basically the case without the logo or the mesh panels which you have to buy separately making it a little bit more customisable.

Shinobi is a good choice, another that seems to be loved by several members is the Zalman Z9, while it's not my cup of tea it is excellent value for money.
The Corsair Carbide 300R is another good case. Also as previously mentioned the Define R3 is another good case for the money, the built quality is excellent.

I bought a Corsair Carbide 300r last week for £60. Nice case. Was easy to build in and cable management has been ok too. Plenty of places for fans and good quality construction.

as i stated above i had chosen the carbide myself but i found a Corsair 600t black for £60 and now i am chuffed to bits because its my favourite case.
