Mine is down the whole left hand side and is very evident (All the display units were completely flush on all sides). Just got back from the o2 store where they refused to exchange it as I had already had one fault exchange. They insisted they had to send it to samsung for repair taking 5 days...received generally poor service from them so far.
 
Hey guys, currently got an Lg optimus 2x and i‘m looking to get the s3.
Still got a couple of months left to run on the contract but i‘ve rang tmobile
to see if they can do anything seeing as both mine amd my partners contracts
expire at the same time but all they‘ll offer seems to be carp..
I don‘t want longer than an 18 month contract but they said for something in the region
of £31 a month i‘d be looking at a cost of £150 for the phone plus £56 to pay off the remainder of the contract and then 300 mins, 500 txts, unlimited internet and a booster for landlines or txts. The amount of mins txts would suffice but theu won‘t budge on handset price e.t.c.
Are there any better deals for 18 month contracts? Can anyone help?

hi guys, I bought the S3 last weekend on 3, for a few days now the voicemail notification icon has been stuck at the top of the screen, and will not dissapear despite not having any new voicemails, how on earth can I get rid of it :( tried leaving a voicemail, deleting etc, but nothing :(
 
Anyone running their display in one of non-standard colour settings? Kept mine on Neutral for a change today and I must say it is much more easier on the eyes, allows me to keep the brightness really high without any eye strain.
 
I am really considering using wanam at the minute, but I have just two(three) questions:

  • What bloat should I be removing? I am from a HTC phone so I don't know what's useful and not.
  • Are there any mods/customizations that are must haves? I've seen the camera mod mentioned a few times in this thread but haven't went down that route yet.
  • I think I am on the latest baseband, XXLFB. But does flashing custom ROMs update the baseband the same way it updated the radio for HTC?
 
From some research on the google, am i correct in saying that the work around for getting skygo to work on the S3 no longer works since Sky updated something recently?

is the only option now to wait for the official ICS/Device support?

Factory reset is last resort. Try clearing the data for the phone and Google service framework first.

I use to get that phantom voicemail notifications on my old Galaxy Nexus.

If that doesn't work, leave a voicemail on your phone and delete the message.

yeah deff voicemail icon :( its stuck on my pulldown notification too stating I have a new voicemail. tried deleting the data for the google framework, no joy :( tried previously leaving a message too :(

Huh? Mine doesn't have Neutral screen mode listed.
I only have a choice of Dynamic, Standard, Neutral or Movie.
