Ive found reg to be extremely iffy in it compared to bfbc2, pump a full clip into someone who's standing with their back to me. Only for them to turn round and one shot kill me. This and dying while dropping under cover, upto 4 seconds on times ive counted it.
 
Don't know what it is about Battlefield 3, but everytime I think I might want to play it I just think "**** it, can't be assed" then load up Mount and Blade or something. The game is just stale and the premium thing just took the cake with all their exclusive weapons, double xp weekends etc

Sure, I will keep an eye out for BF4 details but I won't buy it as I find the whole thing to be very greedy and they don't listen to the fans, we have wanted VOIP in game since the beginning but they just refuse to implement it, it's so ****ing annoying and arrogant to think that they can ignore us like that and then talk about a sequel like everyone is just going to lap it up? Sorry EA, not this time, I passed on your premium rubbish and I will pass on this.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't; aiming at their feet, got a headshot. :p

That stupid blur suppression effect and bullets that change their trajectory because of it, are just laughable. Oh and the fact that my weapons goes upwards if someone is shooting at me while I'm in deployed LMG position with the bipod.
 
I wouldnt worry, EA's profits arent looking good for the future, neither is Activisions.

Big publishing fascists are quite frankly dying, a slow, rather unfortunate death (mainly for the developers they have either absorbed or killed off for nothing.

More on topic though, although BF3 was fun for me, the cheating killed it, i literally could not go a map without someone heads-hotting the entire server constantly, perhaps bad luck, but frankly DICE did not care at the beginning, thus i stopped caring.

Is there actually any date for this? Are are we still going on the news that you get early BETA access when you pre-order Medal of Honor: Warfighter? Because if not, it could be for another 2 years yet.

There's plenty of hours of BF3 to play yet.

It's pretty obvious BF4 will release Q4 of 2013. And I wouldn't be surprised if it coincided with the Xbox 720 release.

EA are obviously looking to repeat the success of BF3 (15 million sales is a big deal with their falling share price), and they will stick to the same forumla, hyping it up at E3 for release later in the year.

Every game since the dawn of time has had expansion packs. DLC is just the 21st century equivalent of having expansion packs. This was never content that should have been in the game.

There are alternate revenue methods, such as going free to play with micro transactions like planetside 2 has done. Time will tell if they can resist the temptation to make it play to win

Because if everybody looks at the stuff on offer and doesn't buy it, Sony will be operating an MMO for free and will end up shutting it down as its losing too much money

I used a total cannon of a rifle the other day. Stolen kit, chinese sniper ? One hit kill every time pretty much, I never play sniper normally but got about 6 kills in a row with that with unscoped also. unfortunately I didnt write down the name of the weapon :(

it will be the new bolt action one from Close Quarters, the JNG-90

one hit kill to the chest up close. And its turkish rather than chinese. The stats on the thing are pretty awesome.


Or you might be thinking of the chinese QBU-88. But that came with the Back to Karkand DLC in November, so i'm guessing you would have unlocked that by now !

Its what they did with 2142. It was just BF2's engine with some new classes, game modes and maps. Stupid thing was, that it became one of the best battlefield games of all time.

I liked that drone you could unlock, that would follow you around and shoot at people :D

Also, the deplorable shield was hilarious in Titan mode.. Running around the corner and seeing a shield and a guy behind it was a "uhhhhh" moment.

I'd love a 2142 DLC for BF3.
 
I was really hoping they would go back to Battlefield 1942, oh well I do like Battlefield 3 it's just I'm getting modern day combat fatigue.
