Will probably end up buying a load more though lol.

anyone else think this is stopping piracy? I dont want to get myself in trouble but i do tend to ordinarily pirate games but since getting steam ive spent hundreds cos the value is so good....pretty interesting if you ask me as it wasnt a conscious decision at all.

Doesn't stop piracy, just means the publisher/dev get some money towards their game in a more fair fashion.

Bastion bought - and vote placed for JC2 as the wee lad wants it

Voted JC2 just for your wee lad. :p

I encourage others not to bother with GTA4, it's been £5 in past sales and not improved since, online is boring and the game itself is a mess for modding on Steam.

Just Cause 2 just got a multiplayer mod: http://www.jc-mp.com/
Waiting on it becoming release now. :)

I voted JC2 aswell, got GTA complete pack in the last sale which had GTAIV and i don't have DS1 so...

Bastion is well worth the buy though for anyone who hasn't got it.

Well I put off purchasing Skyrim for the possibility that there would be a flash deal or a community vote and it could be cheaper, but that hasn't happened and rather thank taking the chance when the Skyrim offer goes back to 33% I took the plunge and grabbed it now while it's on 50%. Still a good deal for a great game.

I also picked up legend of grimrock as it looked interesting, the screenshots reminded me of an old game I used to play called Mordor: The Depths of Dejenol.

I just think i cant be the only person who give or take has never bought a game, who suddenly starts buying them honestly due to steams prices and ease of access. I even had a modded SNES for gods sake :D Amazing really, i mean all those semi-pirates that buy games used will probs buy these games too, its great for the industry. Valve are really something.

If the game doesn't have a discount then I don't think it will be given a discount. I think daily sales and flash sales are just deeper discounts of games that are already on sale.

So I wouldn't count on it.
