I have THE WORST LUCK with steam sale games, I bought alice madness returns (doesn't work with anything usb plugged in) and saints row which drops frame so bad the menu's don't work. I've tried every fix + setting I've come across and nothing works.
think I might give the rest of the week a complete miss.

oh and portal 2 runs so bad it's unplayable too.

Sounds very much like your system is at fault, Portal 2 is not that demanding at all. Do a Heaven run and see if your results match those with similar spec'd systems.

I bought a 256gb SSD last month for this steam sale and deleted all my old games. I've now got 4gb left and it's not payday til next Monday.

I'd like to point out that I didn't blame the games, it's my luck everything has run perfect on the pc up until I start spending money on games.

Picked up Rayman and Trine 2. Haven't really been active in these sales like I normally am for Steam sales but couldn't resist those two.

£1.86 and you have to ask if it's worth the money? Seriously, is £1.86 that much money that you may regret spending it on a DLC that doesn't live up to it's value?

Old world Blues is incredible, it would easily be worth a tenner imo. The best piece of dlc I have played in ages.

I spent £645 (or there about) on this one less than 2 months ago. it's not the best but I'd expect it to perform better than this.
