I almost gave in on my three year Ubisoft boycott until i read that. I'll continue never supporting them!
I bought Prince of Persia The Forgotton Sands earlier in the flash sale, i think it will be my last Ubisoft PC Uplay game for a while until they sort it out, i think i'll stick with my consoles for the older console Ubisoft games that don't require Uplay, i think ones before Driver San Francisco last August.
I really hope i can play POP TFS offline somehow.
Also bought Fallout 3 GOTY, Dead Space 1 and Fallout NV Ultimate Edition, thankfully no third party DRM with them.
People thinking of buying Ubisoft games that require Uplay should read this first,

is checkout working for everyone ?
each time I click on purchase for myself it goes back to steam sales
I couldn't sleep after playing through Dear Esther. Not because it's scary or tense or anything, but it's just quite a touching interactive story. And damn, the island is an exercise in bleak loneliness - an excellent design example for budding game developers.
This statement alone has sold it for me.
Fallout and darkness worth it ?
If you mean Darkness 2, then I'd say yes. I purchased it yesterday on a whim, and it was good value for money, even if the single player is a little short.
Fallout is brilliant and deserves to be bought, even at full price
Bought Red Faction: Guerilla and Fear 3 today, really REALLY, trying to save money at the moment, but I just can't ignore these bargins![]()
