Virgin Media Discussion Thread

Well my connection was **** last night via wireless on my phone, web pages wouldn't load properly and downloads were pausing and I had to pause them in firefox then resume them.

Phoned virgin today ran a load of tests and apparently there is too much power going to my Superdud and an engineer is scheduled to attend tomorrow.

My Superdud is now on the latest FW version though as he pushed that out this morning, so will have to see if it has solved anything.

You might want to narrow that down mate. Wolverhampton has been doubled but Walsall, Lichfield, Telford, Dudley, Redditch, Kidderminster has not yet.

I see you are in Warwickshire so you might want to ask about people who live near you. The Midlands is a big area :)
 
My area was due to upgraded July (I ended up phoning them anyway to change my price and I got bumped to 100Mb early).

Robbie just use the checker.

After mine previously saying July 2012 I've just checked again and it says:

"December 2012 and May 2013"

I can't say I'm that bothered though as I've upgraded to 100Mb early anyway, just waiting for 120Mb down and 12Mb(or 10?) up.

same for me. I dont really mind but it's a bit of a joke that they have only just decided to change the information on the month were supposed to get the upgrade. THey must have known months ago tbh.

Going to phone them up later and get them to upgrade me manually. No way I'm paying the same as a new customer pays for 100mb but only get 50mb any longer.
