Looks right to me. If you're going to build something then go for the best price/performance ratio.

Indeed, the spec in its entirety is:

- i3 2120
- Asus H61 MB
- 4GB DDR3 1600MT/s memory
- C300 64GB SSD
- Arc mini
- XFX Core 450w PSU

All of this come to a little over £250 as I already had the SSD.

I dropped in a HD7770 for £100 and the system is running Win 8 RP x64. If I factor in the SSD the entire system cost a little under £400.

Not bad for all out max settings at 1680x1050.

I could have done it cheaper by going used or scrimping on say the CPU but I am pleased with the overall result.

It will be a bucket. I paid about that for my bucket a few years ago and I still haven't used it all yet. Its about twice as cheap as the rubbish stuff you get from holland and barret when its on offer at half price and its much much better quality.

a bucket has lasted you a few years? how often are you using it? whats the point using it once a week

Yay! \o/

I've got reason 5, quite a complicated program in my opinion. I would recommend searching for "provideo tuts" into YouTube, the guy goes over all the functions in reason, 90 tutorials overall. I'm halfway at the moment.

Thanks for the hint, but I have been with Reason since version 1 (I used to work for Computer Music Magazine and have written for Future Music Magazine) and have even written a guide book on Reason 4.

I have not used Record before but the integration in 6.5 has totally blown me away coming from Reason 4 rewired to Sonar.

If you want any help at all with anything, PM me. It seems hard at first but some basic principles can see you right and its just gets better from there as you get deeper into it. :)

Don't be afraid of the Tab key.

Can I ask where you got that from? I'm looking for a low power IR laser and that looks like a perfect size!

Ebay. Came from America, mostly because it was cheaper.

Search for a Laser bore sight, this one is a .357/38 special, but there are a few sizes available, 9mm would be even smaller (length wise) and I think is the smallest they do.

Don't know about IR though, is that a filter you'll attach yourself, as the whole point of these is to be visible.

The Postman has arrived with my new scope rail, after about a week of waiting. Combined with the rest of this month's purchases I have created this:

TA DA!
Oh my it's ugly! But fun:D

That's a bit unwieldy for a last stand weapon, unless you have juggernaut on so you don't enter last stand.

Whats the stopping power like? Do you find it leaves a deep impact.
