What makes them poor?

In Fallout 3 the VATs system was terrible, let's be honest we just aimed for the head every time. The storyline was awful and made no sense. The ending was also so stupid I felt cheated. It was obvious Bethesda hadn't planned it out and were stuck with what to do at the end. The moral (good vs bad choices) was also bad, I mean you could blow up megaton and kill everyone there yet if give out a few bottle of water to homeless people everyone will love you again and forget what you did. There is also very few quests when compared with New Vegas. Also why the hell would you build a town around an unexploded bomb? Nuclear warfare has just devastated America and people are supposed to be terrified of anything nuclear. Why build a town around an unexploded bomb rather than around the nearby school or shopping center?

Skyrim is also just very shallow imo. The classes and races have been dumbed down. The world seems big but there's no sense of depth in my opinion. The combat is also awful and there not much in the way of weapons and armor. A lot of the time you will battle through dungeons just to find the gear you get at the end is very poor and worse than what you have got. The dialogue and characters are bad and your actions have no consequences. The main storyline is also mediocre. Sneaking is also a total joke. If you are a high enough level you can fire an arrow into someones head and they will think it's "just the wind". Also nobody seems to recognize your achievements. You can be the head of all the guilds and yet you will still have to prove yourself to someone as they treat you like a commoner.

There's a few other things I haven't mentioned, but I've probably been a bit harsh on them. The games are worth playing but nowhere near as good as the hype and reviews make out in my opinion.

For anyone that doesn't own any of them, the three double fine games for £5.74 is a ridiculously good deal. Although I haven't played psychonauts, the other two I thought were brilliant and worth the £5 by themselves :)

I keep looking at it but it has some shocking reviews.

I got it when it was on sale in the christmas sales. To be honest, I didn't play it all that much, didn't get on with it. No real help with all the options laid out to you in terms of how to level, what to level, and the shooting isn't all that great. And from what I played, I didn't have a clue what was happening story wise either

Whats the Harley Quinn's Revenge DLC like for Arkham City? Looks pretty good.

Sniper Elite is pretty tempting, heard good things about it.

kcon1 - IMO what you have posted is very picky, the positives far outweigh the negatives.

Krater is definitely the best choice there, by far.

Would like 75% off, but will be very tempted if it wins. Will depend on what comes up in today's daily deals. Hopefully they are good, haven't bought anything for a few days now :(

Voted Krater, never heard of it until now but looking at the 3 this looks the best of the bunch.

Was also hoping for 75% discount on sniper elite but I might just go for the franchise pack anyways. AND I got my eye on that Double Fine pack as I had stacking on my wishlist anyways.

If you like point-and-click adventure/puzzle games, I can highly recommend The Dream Machine. I'm really enjoying it at the moment, it's superb. On par with Machinarium I'd say.

I keep looking at it but it has some shocking reviews.

The main flaws I found were some of the language translations (a minor problem), but to be honest the respawns did become annoying after a while (a bigger issue). You can turn it down, but I kind of wanted to turn it down some more. :D Maybe they've updated / patched it since I've played it. You could always check out some youtube play through vids. :)

Psychonauts is superb, well worth the asking price. I haven't heard of the other 2 in the deal but if Tim Schaffer is behind the creation of them then that's good enough for me!

Just saw Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY on there for £3 and though bargain, imagine my surprise when I click it and see "You already own this item".

Bought it ages ago but never installed it

What happens if you buy a pack and you already have some games?

A few days ago I seen one deal that said if you owned any game you'd get a gift code to give someone else

However i've not seen another deal say that, so is it standard if you own a game you get a gift code to give someone? or do they just ignore the fact you have them :P
