Odd light on my Asus TF101?

Evening,

I have a transformer, and occasionally a light goes on on the keyboard dock here;

Usually I think it flashes green? and not especially bright, after the latest firmware update it came on bright white, then went out after a reboot. I have no idea what it is, or what it's for, google has failed me.

I also couldn't find a reference in the manual, but seems to do nothing, anybody know it's purpose?

You know what? it is.

Thing is, it wasn't, it didn't work, now it does!?

Before the last firmware update it didn't do anything, when the update happened it lit up, but as I'd already thought of caps lock I didn't try again, oops.

Now I feel..... silly.
