I created an Excel Spreadsheet to keep tabs on my spending it's saying I've spent £137.45 didn't realize it was getting that high.

this why i use the steam wallet & i think you all should (for sales)

PUut £50 in steam wallet by your games using that,

Benefits are:

If you add money you only got add up £50+£50 etc.

& if the steam payment system slows up or breaks you can still buy stuff with your steam wallet as they already have your money. ive seen a few people say they cannot buy games at ccertain times inn this thread due this payment system issues. when i try at the same time no issue:p:D

last but not least if you dont use it all you can leave in there for later use (aka sleeping dogs game)

I can see how spending gets out of hand. In my head I'd spent around £10-12, picking up £1 and £2 bargains here and there.

Decided to tally up and found I've spent £38 on 12 games.

Not exactly going to break the bank, but seeing as it's over three times what I'd have guestimated...

Notice a couple of games amongst that 12 that I don't even remember actually buying as well. :o

Oh, and my "bought but not (yet) played" list in Steam now contains 30 games...

Hahahaha, some people are stupid or what? Look at that!

The bottom one and the top left one take you to the exact same page so you end up buying the entire bundle either way. I saw that last night and had a chuckle then clicked them both.

Im so rubbish i cant remember what ive bought

New Vegas Ultimate Edition
Crysis Collection
Just Cause 2
Unreal Deal Pack
Dead Island

Brings my total spend thus far to around £30 - it needs to stop, I shall budget £40!

Don't blame steam for your own ignorance. Its common knowledge that they do daily deals (they're hardly subtle either) so you should never buy anything till the last day if it hasn't come up previously. If other things come up you bought already thats your own fault.

Agreed, we post this all the time and people still complain about it? Wait for the daily deals, if they don't turn up, buy the game you want on the last day of the sales.
