So live is down for everyone but you can download the demo!? There going to lose a few impulse sales I think.

Some time in August I imagine, I'm gonna hold out for that version, I'd feel like a traitor to my youth if I played this with a 360 pad. :p

Done Hanger and School 2 now, can't remember how on earth you unlock the School 2 gym. Is it something to do with the flag poles on the roof near the basketball court?

Edit: You have to grind the angled roll coll rail down the smaller stair set in time with the bell

Can anyone see a way to increase skaters stats?

I'm trying to get the venice beach cd but it's practically impossible because Rodney Mullen has terrible air stats :/
 
I can't help but think this UI could be better designed :p

I'll give that a go tonight.

Also is anyone finding comboing in this a lot easier than before? Sick score in Venice beach was really, really easy. I think tricks in combos add 1x each where as previously they were only .5x or something like that.
 
Yeah these HD remakes are always too faithful, I'm really missing a lot of things they added in the later games. I can understand the gameplay mechanics like reverts that would muck a lot up but having a free camera should be mandatory.

Couldnt agree more.

Althought with years of not TH, and moving across the the first skate game for a while its taking me a LONG time to get back into the swing of things.

The thing is I'm weridly finding myself bailing a lot more on THPS than I do on Skate, it's far pickier about your board direction when you land (either that or it's much more difficult to control the board direction, possibly becuase it's quicker as well)

Yeah thats what I mean, didnt really explain it well in my post.

TH is relentless with board direction for landing and its catching me out all the time.
