***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

Yeah that's the one i was looking at, are T-Mobile good these days then? I didn't think the had the best reputation, but i haven't exactly kept up to date with these things.

I got my current contract on Orange from mobiles.co.uk so would it just be a case of ringing them up, saying i want that T-Mobile deal and then they'll cancel whatever i've got on Orange?

They seem to have been alright for my house mate and I had no issues with porting my number over last week, but I suppose time will tell.
I'm pretty sure you'll have to go through Orange themselves to cancel your current one, then just get your PAC code and give T-mobile a ring when your new phone arrives and It'll be done in 1 working day.

Been running CM10 all day and i think i will/would struggle go back to ICS its so smooth!

I'm tempted to give it a go but I've spent ages getting my Omega based set up just how I like it I don't want to have to do it all again :o

Anyone confirm if the option to format the SD card to EXT4 is in the recovery for CM10?

I thought that just did full images? Rather than being able to get all my settings, home screen etc layouts over to a new rom

Nandroid so you can restore back if you don't like CM10.

Titanium for restoring launchers/homescreen, apps and app data.

It does.

Nandroid makes an image of the entire phone like a Ghost Image for PC's
Titanium Backup does just the apps/settings.

He is saying to do a backup of each so that you can use TB to restore the apps/settings on CM10 then, if you don't like CM10 you can just Nandroid restore the old ICS setup easily.

Just reading the bugs and problems people having with the Preview Cm10 over at XDA... I think I'll wait :p

There are some cracking moments over on XDA, in the CM10 thread for example:

ahh I see gotcha - thanks.

Do mp3's drain a lot of battery on this baby?

I listen to around 2-3 hours per day.

Not really, MP3 stuff is pretty good in that respect.

Internet radio will be a different story though, as the data connection is in play while you're streaming it.
